Ahead of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court verdict against Dera Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim in Journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati Murder case , security has been beefed up in Bathinda.

The police has taken all necessary steps to ensure that no untoward incident take place. As many as 1200 security personnel have been deployed in Bathinda The police has intenfied the patrolling and is keeping a close watch on bad elements in Bathinda especially outside the Dera Sacha Sauda’s naam charcha ghar in Bathinda.

The police personels are deployed to handle any violence which breaks out if Dera Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim is convicted of the murder case of journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati.

The CBI court will announce the verdict in the murder case on January 11. Earlier, the court had directed the Haryana police to produce Dera Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan in court for the verdict in a Ram Chander Chattarpati murder case via video conferencing on Friday.

The Haryana Police had requested the special CBI court to produce Gurmeet Ram Rahim via video conferencing. The police had requested the CBI Court, citing the violence which was erupted in Panchkula after the conviction of Dera Chief in Sadhvi rape case.
