Ram Temple trust chief, who attended Bhumi Pujan with PM Modi, tests positive for Covid-19

The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust chief, Nritya Gopal Das, who is looking after the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. On August 5, Nritya Gopal Das had shared the stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and UP Governor Anandiben Patel, among others, during the Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan ceremony in Ayodhya. As per the report, Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Awasthi stated that the chief minister has taken note of the trust chief’s positive test. Das was in Mathura to participate in the Janmashtami celebrations when he tested positive for the contagion disease. Meanwhile, he has been informed that he is running a mild fever and has been given medication.
