The bail plea was heard before the Additional Sessions Judge Nilofer Abeeda Parveen. Meanwhile, Sidhu alleged that the charges against him were baseless. During the last hearing, he had told the court that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time.
However, the prosecutor informed the court that the accused was well aware in advance that protestors would not follow the route provided by Delhi Police.
The prosecutor added that Deep, in a video from January 26, was seen at the Red Fort ramp.
