Reports of Milkha Singh's death FAKE! He is fine and stable
Milkha Singh Health: After 'The Flying Sikh' Milkha Singh was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at PGIMER Chandigarh, there have been several reports regarding his death.
The reports being circulated on the Internet regarding Milkha Singh's death are baseless and FAKE.

As per the latest statement by PGIMER Chandigarh, "The Flying Sikh Milkha Singh, being unwell due to COVID 19, was admitted to ICU of NHE Block of PGIMER on June 3, 2021. On the basis of all the medical parameters on June 5, his condition has been observed better and more stable than Friday."

"He is closely being monitored by a team of three doctors at PGIMER," it added.
Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to former Indian sprinter Milkha Singh and inquired about his health condition.
The PM wished him a speedy recovery and hoped he will be back soon to bless and inspire the athletes who are participating in the Tokyo Olympics.
Earlier, Singh was discharged from Fortis hospital where he was getting treatment for Covid-19 infection.
