Rochester mass shooting: Two dead, 14 injured at party in New York
Rochester mass shooting: In a mass shooting incident, two people died while 14 others were injured at a backyard party in Rochester, New York, the police said on Saturday.
Male and a female deceased were between the ages of 18 and 22. The injured people were taken to 2 different hospitals. The interim police chief Mark Simmons said none of them were believed to have life-threatening injuries.
Simmons said that this was truly a tragedy of epic proportions.

Reportedly, it is being said that the incident comes while the city’s police department has been rocked by the suffocation death of Daniel Prude.
In a video taken in March which was made public by Prude’s family on September 4, Prude was handcuffed and naked with a spit hood over his head while an officer pushed his face against the street. The another officer pressed a knee to his back.

The police officers had held Prude down for around 2 minutes till he stopped breathing.
The Mayor Lovely Warren fired the police chief La’Ron Singletary, who she said initially misled her about the circumstances of the Prude’s death.
Simons said that the officers responded to calls of shots fired and found “approximately 100 people” running from the scene, The police were unaware of the party, he said.
