अंबाला कैंट से बीजेपी उम्मीदवार और राज्य के पूर्व मंत्री अनिल विज 1199 वोटों से पीछे चल रही हैं। उन्हें अभी तक 6353 वोट मिले हैं। निर्दलीय चित्रा सरवारा 7552 वोट के साथ पहले नंबर पर है। यहां 2 राउंड की गिनती पूरी हुई है।

आदमपुर से भव्य बिश्नोई फिर आगे हुए

आदमपुर में भाजपा उम्मीदवार भव्य बिश्नोई आगे हो गए हैं। वह 1993 वोट से लीड बनाए हुए हैं।

तीसरे राउंड के बाद जुलाना सीट

तीसरे राउंड के बाद जुलाना से विनेश फोगाट 2039 वोट से पीछे चल रही हैं। भाजपा उम्मीदवार 14,329 वोट के साथ पहले नंबर पर हैं। विनेश फोगाट को 12,990 वोट मिले हैं।

This process kicked off following the issuance of a notification by the Election Commission on behalf of the President. April 19 is the deadline for the submission of nomination papers.

In another notification the Election Commission announced the issuance for the "adjourned" poll in the Betul constituency of Madhya Pradesh. This decision comes after the election in the Betul Lok Sabha seat was postponed following the unfortunate demise of the BSP's candidate. 

According to protocol, if a candidate from a recognized national or state party passes away before the polls, the election is rescheduled to provide the party with an opportunity to nominate and field a new candidate.

Notably, the Lok Sabha elections will take place in seven phases, with voters across the country going to the polls on April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1.

Voting under phase 3 will be held in 94 constituencies in 12 states and Union territories (UT) on May 7. The counting of votes for all polls will done on June 4.

The states and the union territories included in Phase 3 are Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Goa, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

The last date for filing nominations for phase 3 is April 19 and scrutiny of nominations is April 20.

According to reports, the ECI ordered that all officers be transferred immediately and that they provide a declaration letter stating that they have "no ties to any of the party's candidates."

According to sources, all officers will be transferred from their home district, from SSP to Sub Inspector, and these changes must be made within 7 days of receiving the letter.

The DCs of all districts were also ordered to be transferred.

सुबह 8 बजे से शुरू होगी वोटों की काउंटिंग

बता दें मध्य प्रदेश की 230 सीटों, छत्तीसगढ़ की 90 सीटों, तेलंगाना की 119 सीटों और राजस्थान की 199 सीटों के लिए कड़ी सुरक्षा के बीच सुबह 8 बजे गिनती शुरू हुई। चुनाव अधिकारियों ने कहा कि मतगणना को लेकर त्रिस्तरीय सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की गई है। साथ में कहा कि केवल वैध पास रखने वाले लोगों को ही मतगणना केंद्रों में प्रवेश करने की अनुमति दी जाएगी।

मतगणना केद्रों पर सुरक्षा के किए कड़े प्रबंध

चुनाव अधिकारियों ने कहा कि मप्र की 230 विधानसभा सीटों की गिनती 52 जिला मुख्यालयों पर होगी। राजस्थान में मतगणना के लिए 979 टेबलों की व्यवस्था की गई है। साथ में उन्होंने कहा कि छत्तीसगढ़ में वामपंथी उग्रवाद (एलडब्ल्यूई) से प्रभावित जिलों समेत राज्य के 33 जिलों के सभी मतगणना केंद्रों बनाए गए हैं, जिनमें कड़ी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की गई है।साथ में तेलंगाना में 119 सीटों के मतों की गिणती के लिए कड़े प्रबंध किए गए हैं।

On Thursday morning polling started at 7 a.m. and it will continue till 4 p.m. According to Election Commission, over 28.14 lakh electorates of which 14,15,233 are male voters, 13,99,289 are woman voters and 62 are of the third gender, are eligible to cast their franchise. The voting is underway at 3,337 polling stations.

Adequate security arrangements have been made for the polls. The state has 97 all-women-managed police stations. It has 94,815 voters in the 18-19 age group and 6,21,505 in the 22-29 age group. The highest number of voters are in the 40-59 age group at 9,81,089.

The fate of the 259 candidates will be sealed on 60 Assembly seats on Thursday.

A triangular contest is on the cards as Congress and CPIM, which have been arch rivals for years, stitched a pre-poll alliance to defeat the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party while the BJP which is looking to retain its power is contesting in alliance with Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT) and the Tipra Motha which is being seen as a kingmaker in case of a hung assembly scenario, emerged as an influential regional party floated by the royal scion Pradyot Kishore Debbarma in 2021. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress has also put up candidates on several seats.

The BJP is contesting on 55 seats and its ally, IPFT, on six seats. But both allies have fielded candidates in the Ampinagar constituency in Gomati district.

The Left will contest on 47 and Congress on 13 seats, respectively. Of the total 47 seats, the CPM will contest 43 seats while the Forward Bloc, Communist Party of India ( CPI) and Revolutionary Socialist Party ( RSP) will contest one seat each.

Over 28 lakh voters are eligible to cast their votes in the election for the 60-member assembly in the border state.

Tripura is the first state to go to the polls this year. While polling for Nagaland and Meghalaya assemblies will be held on February 27, five more states face elections this year in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

A total of 259 candidates, including 20 women, are in the fray in Tripura. The counting of votes will be done on March 2.

This time Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded 12 women candidates.The BJP which had never won a single seat in Tripura before 2018, stormed to power in the last election in alliance with IPFT and had ousted the Left Front which had been in power in the border state for 35 years since 1978.

BJP won 36 seats in the assembly and got 43.59 per cent of the votes in the 2018 election. The CPI (M) won 16 seats with a 42.22 per cent vote share. The IPFT won eight seats and Congress could not open its account.

The BJP is exuding confidence that it will improve its performance. Party's top leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and party chief JP Nadda campaigned in the state.

Apart from national leaders, the star campaigners, Chief Ministers of Assam and Uttar Pradesh, Himanta Biswa Sarma and Yogi Adiyanath respectively also campaigned in Tripura.

On the other hand, CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury, and senior party leaders Brinda Karat, Prakash Karat, Mohammad Salim and former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar campaigned for the party in Tripura.

Congress campaigners included party leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Dipa Dasmunshi and Ajoy Kumar. However, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra did not campaign in the state.

The CPI-M-led Left Front ruled the state for nearly four decades, with a gap between 1988 and 1993, when the Congress was in power but now both the parties joined hand with an intention to oust BJP from power.

Tipra Motha, which has raised demand for Greater Tipraland, could upset the calculations of both BJP and Left-Congress alliance. Tipra Motha, chaired by Tripura royal scion Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma, is contesting at 42 seats.

Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress may act as a spoiler as it is contesting 28 seats and 58 independent candidates are also trying out their luck.

Chief Minister Manik Saha is contesting the polls from Town Borodowali. Congress has fielded Ashish Kumar Saha against him. Manik Saha replaced Biplab Kumar Deb as chief minister in May last year.

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma is contesting from Charilam seat.

Tripura BJP state president Rajiv Bhattacharjee is contesting from the Banamalipur constituency. Biplab Deb earlier represented the seat.

CPI(M) state general secretary Jitendra Choudhury is contesting from the Sabroom constituency.

The BJP has fielded Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik from the Dhanpur constituency. Bhoumik is the first woman from Tripura to become a Union minister. Tipra Motha has fielded Amiya Dayal Noatia against Bhoumik in the seat.

BJP has fielded sitting MLA Pranajit Singh Roy from the Radhakishorpur constituency. He is pitted against CPI-ML's Partha Karmakar. BJP's Papiya Dutta will face Congress candidate Sudip Roy Barman in Agartala.

In Karbook, CPI(M) candidate Priyamani Debbarma is contesting against BJP's Ashim Tripura and Tipra Motha's Sanjay Manik.

In the run-up to the elections, Chief Minister Manik Saha said that the demand for a "Greater Tipraland" is not possible as Tripa Motha Party is not able to define the boundary.

"Greater Tipraland, we have heard this name before also. In every Assembly election, some or other slogans like Tipraland are created and after every 5 years, new local parties emerge and raise such slogans. I have repeatedly asked where is the boundary, sometimes they say that Greater Tipraland is in Bangladesh, and sometimes they say that there are some parts of Assam and Mizoram too. This means they are in a fix. What exactly they are trying to say and want to say, we are not able to understand anything. When we talk about this matter, they say it is linguistic culturally, they are not able to define or describe properly," Saha said during an exclusive interview with the ANI, on the demand of Greater Tipraland.

He had also termed the democratic ouster of the Left Front government in Tripura in the last assembly polls by the BJP as "historic" and something "that has barely happened in India's history".

"It's a history that after 35 years of rule, BJP removed the Communist government here in a democratic way...It has barely happened in India's history," he said.

"Communists committed murders and violence here, so it is important that they do not return to power as violence cannot lead to development. Numerous people had to sacrifice their lives. All of us are very concerned," Saha added.

There was a 15 page manifesto that was presented and it has promised the reinstatement of 10,323 retrenched teachers. They have also promised the regularisation of services of contractual employees and more autonomy to the tribal council.

Left Front convener Narayan Kar, while addressing the press conference for Tripura Assembly election 2023 said that democracy was strangled in Tripura after the BJP came to power in 2018. "Voting rights of people have been snatched away under the BJP-IPFT regime, while people's liberty to raise their voice has been lost. The Left Front will restore the democratic values once it wins the elections," he said.

He further elaborated by saying that, "We will create 2.5 lakh jobs during the next five years if the Left Front secures the blessing of the people," he said. Kar also said that contractual employees will also be regularised as per the guidelines.

If any individual whose age is over 60 years and has an annual income of less than Rs 1 lakh will get social pension, Kar said. The Left Front will increase the dearness allowance (DA) if they will come to power. The DA allowance of government employees twice a year based on the consumer price index and it has also reintroduce the old pension scheme, he said.

The government employees and pensioners in Tripura are around 1,88,494. The Left Front has also promised that 200-day work per year to the poor to boost the rural economy.

Left Front convener Narayan Kar said, the Left Front will provide a high level of autonomy for the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC).

The communist party will contest election in 43 seats alone while other Left Front constituents the Forward Bloc, RSP and the CPI will be contesting in one seat each.

On Thursday, BJP secretary and its northeast co-incharge Rituraj Sinha said that the party will fight the Meghalaya polls under the campaign and tagline of "M-Power" (Modi power), also mentioned that people of the state have enormous trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He further elaborated that they believe in Modi and he is the only person and he can only ensure a corruption-free government. 

BJP chief of Nagaland and Meghalaya, Temjen Imna Along and Ernest Mawrie also named the party candidates which was approved by the party's central election committee.

Meanwhile, Rituraj Sinha, said that people of northeast started losing their cool regarding the corruption and slow pace of development, the schemes of central government have reached them, but corruption still continues. They believe that their implementation could have been better, he said.

Currently, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma-led National People's Party is in power in Meghalaya. Though BJP is a part of his government, the relations between the two parties are not smooth. Earlier, BJP had contested on 47 seats in the 2018 assembly polls and had won two.

Sinha further expressed confidence by saying that the saffron party will do wonders in the state polls and noted that Modi has visited the northeast region over 50 times in his term. This is more than the visit of all the previous PMs put together, he said, adding that Modi has always been to the region with some development package.

Sinha further said that the prime minister has converted the 'Look East' policy into 'act policy'. The Union government has worked to execute the HIRA (highways, internet connectivity, roadways and airport) model in the region which has also witnessed an era of peace.

"In the true sense, Modi has married regional aspiration of the northeast with our national priorities," he said.

हालाकि सपा के इस गढ़ में सेंधमारी करने के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश भाजपा भी हर मुम्किन दांव-पेंच लड़ा रही है। भाजपा ने मैनपुरी लोकसभा उपचुनाव के चुनावी रण में रघुराज शाक्य को अपना उम्मीदवार बनाया है, जिनके लिए लखनऊ से लेकर दिल्ली तक पार्टी कार्यकर्ता और समर्थक अपने-अपने तौर-तरीक़ो से जद्दोजहद और मशक्कत कर रहे हैं।

मैनपुरी लोकसभा सीट पर होने जा रहे इस उपचुनाव की भनक बिहार तक भी पहुंच चुकी है। दरअसल पहले तो लालू प्रसाद यादव परिवार तक ही बात सीमित थी, लेकिन अब ख़ुद बिहार के मौजूदा मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार भी इस चुनाव में अपनी दिलचस्पी का खुलकर इज़हार कर चुके हैं।

मैनपुरी उपचुनाव को लेकर बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार की पार्टी जनता दल युनाइटेड ने बड़ा ऐलान कर दिया है। जेडीयू ने मैनपुरी उपचुनाव के लिए डिंपल यादव को समर्थन करने का फैसला किया है। अखिलेश यादव  की पत्नी की राह आसान करने के साथ ही, जेडीयू ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी को हराने की भी खुले तौर पर घोषणा कर दी है।

जेडीयू के प्रदेश प्रवक्ता अभिषेक झा ने बताया कि एनडीए का कुनबा छोड़ने के बाद नीतीश कुमार देश भर में विपक्ष को एकजुट करने की क़वायद में जुटी हुई है। उन्होंने बताया कि यूपी के मैनपुरी लोकसभा के उपचुनाव में एकजुट होकर भाजपा को नाकामयाब करना है, इसीलिए जेडीयू ने सपा को समर्थन करने का बड़ा फैसला लिया है। आपको बता दें कि सपा संरक्षक मुलायम सिंह यादव के निधन के बाद मैनपुरी लोकसभा सीट खाली हुई है। इस सीट पर 5 दिसंबर को मतदान होना है।

मुलायम सिंह के निधन के बाद मैनपुरी में सैफई परिवार का ये पहला चुनाव है। मुलायम के निधन से इस सीट पर यादव परिवार के लिए सहानुभूति की लहर भी है। बीते दिनों हुई चर्चाओं पर अगर ग़ौर करें तो सपा से मैनपुरी के पूर्व सांसद तेज प्रताप सिंह यादव उम्मीदवारों की रेस में सबसे आगे थे, लेकिन अचानक अखिलेश यादव की पत्नी डिंपल यादव के नाम का ऐलान उम्मीदवार के तौर पर कर दिया गया। अखिलेश ने अपने पिता मुलायम सिंह की सीट से परिवार के किसी दूसरे सदस्य को उपचुनाव लड़ाने के बजाय अपनी पत्नी डिंपल यादव पर यक़ीन जताया, ताकि मुलायम सिंह की सियासी विरासत उनके पास ही बरक़रार रहे और उसकी क़ायदी से हिफाज़त भी की जा सके। हालाकि नेता जी के क़िले का सही मायनों में सियासी वारिस कौन साबित होगा, इसके लिए हम सबको 8 दिसंबर के नतीजे वाले दिन का इंतज़ार करना ही होगा।

A total of 92 candidates, including two women, are contesting in Phase 2 of the election, which will be held in 22 constituencies across Manipur's 6 electoral districts. SS Olish of the BJP is in the fray from the Chandel seat, while Y Romita of the CPI is contesting from the Kakching constituency.

The first phase of elections concluded on February 28, 2022. The results will be declared on March 10.

Voters queue up in Jiribam, Chandel to cast votes following Covid-19 protocol mid the polling for the second and last phase of the Manipur Assembly elections, voters queued up outside the polling booth in Jiribam in the western parts of the state. The voters were standing in line while maintaining social distancing to follow the Covid-19 protocol.
