He was injured & was taken to hospital where he was brought dead. It seems like an inter-gang rivalry. Lawrence Bishnoi gang is involved in this murder. Lucky, member of the gang has taken responsibility from Canada. He had 4 commandos from Punjab Police out of which 2 were taken back but he was having two commandos that Moose Wala didn't take along with him today. DGP informed that Sidhu Moose Wala had a private bulletproof car that he didn't take with him. He added that on the orders of the CM, IG range has been directed to form an SIT. 3 weapons were used. SSP Mansa & SSP Bathinda deployed there. ADG law & order has mobilized additional forces. Two unidentified persons had opened fire at prominent Punjabi singer and politician Sidhu Moosewala and two of his friends. Sidhu Moosewala has been declared dead with 8-10 bullet injuries. This firing took place in Jawaharke village by unidentified persons. Nearly, 30-40 rounds were fired at the black-colored Thar in which the prominent singer was traveling with his friends. Sidhu Moosewala's death was confirmed by SSP Mansa. Sidhu Moosewala had four police gunmen on his security, two were withdrawn yesterday by Punjab Government. It is also negligence on why he was traveling without two of his security personnel. He reportedly told police gunmen not to accompany him. Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moose Wala had joined the Congress before the Punjab elections. Moose Wala had contested the Assembly polls on Congress ticket from Mansa. He was defeated by AAP’s Dr. Vijay Singla with a margin of 63,323 votes. Former PPCC Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu is the one who had convinced Moose Wala to contest elections, granting him ticket from Mansa Assembly constituency. -PTC News ]]><![CDATA[ 'Punjab is up in flames', Amit Malviya attacks AAP over Sidhu Moose Wala's murder ]]>New Delhi, May 29: Punjab is up in flames, said BJP leader Amit Malviya on Sunday while attacking the Aam Adami Party government over Sidhu Moose Wala's murder. Malviya also questioned if AAP was not aware of the possible threats of withdrawing Moose Wala's security. Taking to Twitter, Malviya said, "Punjab is up in flames! Is popular singer Sidhu Moosewala's cold-blooded murder the change AAP promised? Arvind Kejriwal and Raghav Chaddha, who run Punjab by proxy, must be held accountable for this murder. Did they not know of the threat before withdrawing his security?" The Punjabi singer was shot dead a day after his security was withdrawn by the Punjab police, along with 424 others. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur condemned the removal of Moosewala's security and held the AAP government responsible for the murder. "The incident that shot dead the famous singer of Punjab Sidhu Moosewala is sad and condemnable. The law and order system of the Aam Aadmi Party government is a complete failure, the example of which is being seen by the common man today. The removal of Sidhu Moosewala's security by the AAP government of Punjab is unfortunate, I strongly condemn it. Today, if anyone is responsible for this murder, then it is believed to be the AAP government of Punjab. There should be a fair investigation into this incident," Thakur said. Union Minister Anurag Thakur termed the murder "ruthless and cowardly" and said that amount of condemnation for the incident is less. "The ruthless and cowardly murder of popular Punjab singer Sidhu Moosewala ji is very sad and the amount of condemnation for this incident is less. My condolences to his fans and the bereaved family. May the departed soul rest in peace," he tweeted. Condemning the killing, former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh said that nobody is safe in Punjab. "Brutal murder of Sidhu Moosewala is shocking. My profound condolences to the bereaved family. Law and order has completely collapsed in Punjab. Criminals have no fear of law. AAP Punjab government has miserably failed. Nobody is safe in Punjab!," he tweeted. Moose Wala, who was shot at in Punjab's Mansa on Sunday and was brought dead to the hospital, said Dr Ranjeet Rai, Civil Surgeon, Mansa Hospital. Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly, Partap Singh Bajwa said Moose Wala's murder has exposed the law and order situation in Punjab. "Murder of a promising youngster Sidhu Moosewala exposes law & order situation of Punjab. CM @BhagwantMann should immediately resign as he holds charge of the home department and an explanation is needed on what basis his security was withdrawn yesterday just one day before the attack," Bajwa tweeted. Bajwa called it "political murder" and said that he will not rest till the culprits are put behind the bars. "I will be going to his village to meet his family tomorrow and we won't rest till those behind this political murder are not caught and put behind the bars," he said in a tweet. Moose Wala who joined Congress in December last year, was shot at in Punjab's Mansa today and was brought dead to the hospital, said Dr Ranjeet Rai, Civil Surgeon, Mansa Hospital. The Congress leader was shot at by unknown people earlier today. The incident took place a day after his security was withdrawn by the Punjab police among 424 others. Condoling his demise, Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted, "Deeply shocked at the broad daylight murder of Sidhu Moose Wala. Punjab and Punjabis across the world have lost a talented artist with mass connections, who could feel people's pulse. My heartfelt condolences to his loved ones and fans across the world." Meanwhile, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa demanded an FIR against Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann over "negligence of chief ministerial duties". "Sidhu Moose Wala was a prominent singer. Due to the dirty politics of Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann, he was fatally attacked in which he lost his life. Firstly, they withdraw security of people and then publish their names, I warned this can be dangerous," Manjinder Singh tweeted. "How did such a sensitive document of @PunjabGovtIndia become public!! I demand strict action against those who leaked a confidential list of people whose security was withdrawn by Govt of Punjab. First, you withdrew security and then you make them vulnerable by leaking their names!" he further said. The BJP leader also urged the Union Home Ministery to order an enquiry into the matter. "I urge @HMOIndia to order an enquiry into how & who leaked the confidential list of people whose security was withdrawn by @AAPPunjab Govt @ArvindKejriwal and @BhagwantMann are responsible for the brutal killing of #SidhuMoosewala whose security was withdrawn yesterday," he added. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Navkiran Singh. His body was fished out by personnel of Brampton Fire and Emergency Services on May 15. The local police were reported as saying, "A man in his 20s, identified as Navkiran Singh of Punjab's Moga, was found dead in the Credit River in Brampton, Canada, on Sunday. The body was fished out by emergency personnel. The police have started investigations into the case. Many international students from India come to Canada to become permanent residents and build a better future for themselves as well as their families. However, when such tragic news reach back home, the victim's families are left shattered.
