According to City Superintendent of Police Pramod Kumar, the action was taken after videos of the incident went viral on social media. The complaint was filed by Pranchal Nauni, a student representative of the ‘Satyam Shivam’ organisation at DAV College.

In the complaint, it was stated that during the event held on Saturday, which was organised by the students’ union, the singer’s remarks offended students as well as members of the public present there.

The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and started an investigation.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had attended the event but left before the alleged incident happened. Meanwhile, BJP MLA Umesh Sharma Kau was present at the venue when the incident took place.

प्रदर्शनी के बाद ब्रिटिश हाई कमीशन की टीम ने कुरुक्षेत्र जिले के अजरानी गांव का दौरा किया और सामुदायिक संपर्क कार्यक्रम के तहत ग्रामीणों से बातचीत की। इस दौरान ग्रामीणों को वीज़ा धोखाधड़ी के बढ़ते खतरे के प्रति जागरूक किया गया तथा यात्रा और प्रवासन संबंधी जानकारी के लिए केवल आधिकारिक स्रोतों पर भरोसा करने की सलाह दी गई।

टीम ने ब्रिटिश हाई कमीशन द्वारा शुरू किए गए विशेष व्हाट्सऐप चैटबॉट के बारे में भी जानकारी दी, जो अंग्रेज़ी, हिंदी और पंजाबी भाषाओं में यूनाइटेड किंगडम यात्रा से संबंधित प्रमाणित मार्गदर्शन प्रदान करता है। यह चैटबॉट धोखाधड़ी के तरीकों की पहचान करने और वैध यात्रा मार्गों की जानकारी उपलब्ध कराने में सहायता करता है।

वीजा धोखाधड़ी अस्वीकार्य और अनावश्यक स्तर के कर्ज का कारण बनती है तथा लोगों को शारीरिक नुकसान और शोषण के जोखिम में डालती है। वीजा धोखाधड़ी करते हुए पकड़े जाने वाले व्यक्ति पर ब्रिटेन की यात्रा के लिए 10 वर्ष का प्रतिबंध लगाया जा सकता है। गतिशीलता और प्रवासन साझेदारी समझौते के अंतर्गत ब्रिटेन और भारत अनियमित प्रवासन से निपटने के लिए साझा प्रतिबद्धता रखते हैं। यह अभियान अनियमित प्रवासन और वीजा धोखाधड़ी के विरुद्ध संघर्ष को और मजबूत करने के संयुक्त प्रयासों का एक अतिरिक्त भाग है।

मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक इस यूनिवर्सिटी में करीब 40 फीसदी डॉक्टर कश्मीर से हैं। ऐसे में लोग जानना चाहते हैं कि आखिर अल-फलाह यूनिवर्सिटी है क्या, इसकी शुरुआत कब हुई और यहां कौन-कौन से कोर्स संचालित किए जाते हैं।

‘अल-फलाह’ का अर्थ क्या है?

‘अल-फलाह’ अरबी भाषा का शब्द है, जिसका अर्थ होता है सफलता, मुक्ति या मोक्ष। इस्लामिक परंपरा में इसका प्रयोग उस व्यक्ति के लिए किया जाता है जो अल्लाह के बताए रास्ते पर चलकर मुक्ति प्राप्त करता है।

कब और कैसे हुई थी स्थापना

यूनिवर्सिटी की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट के अनुसार, अल-फलाह यूनिवर्सिटी की स्थापना हरियाणा विधानसभा द्वारा पारित हरियाणा निजी विश्वविद्यालय अधिनियम के तहत की गई थी। इसे साल 2015 में विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (UGC) से मान्यता प्राप्त हुई।

अल-फलाह यूनिवर्सिटी के कैंपस में तीन प्रमुख कॉलेज संचालित हैं-

क्यों चर्चा में है अल-फलाह यूनिवर्सिटी

दिल्ली ब्लास्ट के सिलसिले में इस यूनिवर्सिटी का नाम सामने आने के बाद से यह संस्था चर्चा में है। पुलिस इस बात की जांच कर रही है कि क्या यहां से किसी तरह का आतंकी नेटवर्क या सपोर्ट सिस्टम संचालित हो रहा था। फिलहाल जांच जारी है और अधिकारियों की ओर से आधिकारिक बयान का इंतजार है।  

Presiding over a review meeting at his official residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure maximum public participation, especially from school students and prominent citizens, to spread Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s message of sacrifice, courage, and universal brotherhood.

As part of the commemorative events, a blood donation camp will be organised in Ambala on November 1, to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister himself. On November 3, essay writing competitions based on Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s life will be held in schools across the state in Hindi, English, Punjabi, and Sanskrit. On November 5, appointment letters will be issued to families affected by the 1984 riots.

On November 8, a special prayer and yatra will be flagged off by the Chief Minister from Rori (Sirsa), followed by a national seminar on the lives of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Dayala Ji, and Bhai Jetha Ji at Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa. A coffee table book in Hindi and Punjabi will also be released that day.

On November 9, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will flag off a marathon titled “Hind Di Chadar” from Karnal, while on November 11, CM Saini will flag off another yatra from Marwala in the Pinjore area. The journey will continue through different districts, including Faridabad on November 14, and will also feature a special event in village Barhkhalsa (Sonepat) honouring Dada Kushal Singh Dahiya.

A major highlight of the series will be on November 18, when the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone of  Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Forest and Wildlife Conservation Centre at Kalesar (Yamunanagar). On the same day, he will flag off another yatra from Kapalamochan, and attend a special programme in Pehowa dedicated to the Banjara and Lubana communities.

The commemorations will conclude with a Sarv Dharam Sammelan (Interfaith Conference) in Kurukshetra on November 24, followed by a grand closing ceremony on November 25, featuring musical performances, sand art shows, and a light and sound presentation. Over 350 girls will perform kirtan in traditional style, symbolising peace and devotion.

A formal complaint has been lodged with the Chandigarh police and investigation into the matter has been launched. 

Notably, two years back, Abhay Chautala received a similar threat following which his security was significantly heightened.

According to the complainant, Karan Chautala, Abhay Chautala's younger son who received the threatening message, around 11 pm he received a WhatsApp call from mobile number 9034474747, but the call was disconnected . Shortly after the call, he received a voice message addressing him and his father and hurled abuse.

Karan Chautala in his complaint mentioned that earlier in 2023 also, his father received a threatening message during the Haryana Parivartan Pad Yatra in Jind. Hence his security was increased to Y category. 

Dr Prabhleen Singh is currently on deputation from Punjabi University, Patiala. The extension comes amid his pivotal role in preserving and promoting Sikh heritage and culture in Haryana. Dr Prabhleen Singh has been given a free hand to spearhead cultural and heritage projects across the state.

He is also a part of the Haryana Government’s core team that is involved in establishing a Sikh museum and Guru Ravidas museum in Kurukshetra. Dr Singh was also instrumental in Haryana's prominent celebrations of Veer Bal Diwas, a flagship event initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to honour shaheedi of sahibzadaas of Sikh 10th Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Dr Prabhleen Singh played a vital role in planning and executing the celebrations.

Dr Prabhleen Singh also contributed significantly to the creation of Guru Gobind Singh Research Chair at Kurukshetra University, aimed at promoting research and scholarship on Sikh history and philosophy.

He is also closely associated with Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Lohgarh Foundation Trust, a state-backed project to preserve the legacy of the iconic Sikh warrior, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, at a global level.

The Haryana Government is now preparing for the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, known as "Hind Di Chadar". Dr Prabhleen Singh has been inducted into the state’s core committee to help organise the grand commemorative events.

The principal of Kartar Memorial Public School, Jagbir Pannu was immediately rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Following the attack, the two accused students fled the scene and manhunt has been launched. 

The police arrived at the spot after receiving the information and initiated investigation. 

"Two minor students of Kartar Memorial School in Bas village of Narnaund town, stabbed their School Principal to death in anger, after the principal told the children to come to school with cut hair and maintain discipline. The principal's body has been sent to Hisar for post-mortem. Investigation is underway."

The motive behind the assault has not been ascertained yet, meanwhile police continues to question the school staff and other students. 

Saini announced an interest-free loan of up to Rs 1 lakh for women dairy farmers, a new horticulture policy, and a special project for farmers in Morni Hills.

In order to make Haryana future ready, government has announced a new department 'Department of Future' to be established. In addition, the proposed AI mission with the World Bank pledging Rs 474 crore in support will facilitate establishment of AI hubs in Gurugram and Panchkula. The government will also encourage private investors to create a Rs 2,000 crore "Fund of Funds" to support startups.

Additionally, in order to tackle growing drug menace, Substance Abuse and Narcotics Knowledge Awareness and Liberation Program Authority (SANKALP) will be established with Rs 10 crore initially allocated for the authority.

Haryana government also emphasised on measures to curb 'dunkey route' migration and in view of that a bill will be introduced in this session. 

The BJP's mayoral candidates have won Ambala, Gurugram, Sonipat, Rohtak and Karnal. It is leading in Faridabad, Panipat, Hisar and Yamunanagar. In Manesar, independent candidate Inderjeet Yadav defeated BJP's Sunder Lal.

In Ambala, BJP candidate Shailja Sachdeva secured the mayoral position, defeating Congress contender Amisha Chawla by 20,487 votes. In Gurugram, BJP's Raj Rani claimed victory, while senior BJP leader Rajiv Jain triumphed over Congress's Komal Dewan in Sonipat. Similarly, in Karnal, BJP's Renu Bala Gupta emerged victorious against Congress's Manoj Wadhwa.

The most significant setback for the Congress occurred in Rohtak, the stronghold of former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. BJP's Ram Avtar secured victory over Congress candidate Surajmal Kiloi in the contest.

Meanwhile, Hooda said that civic body polls will not be having much of impact on Congress. 

"Earlier also, the municipal corporations were dominated by the BJP. It could be a setback if we lost the seat, but it was already not with us. The Congress must have gained in some areas, but I did not go anywhere during the elections. I don't think these results will have an impact," Hooda said.

In Nuh, a large crowd of students’ acquaintances gathered outside the exam centres. At Mount Aravalli Public School, the police had to intervene and disperse individuals suspected of assisting in cheating. Meanwhile, in Sonepat’s Jatwara examination centre, people were seen climbing walls to aid students in cheating.

English paper started at 12.30 pm. The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has set up a total of 1,431 examination centers across the state, with 1,98,160 students appearing for the Class 12 exam, along with an additional 25,232 distance learning students.

HBSE Secretary Ajay Chopra stated that an investigation is underway, and appropriate action will be taken as per the regulations. However, he has not yet confirmed whether the paper leak is verified.

In Sonepat’s Government Senior Secondary School, Jatwara, reports surfaced of students allegedly sending question paper images outside. The flying squad conducted a surprise inspection, but the suspects received prior warning, allowing them to evade detection.

अग्निवीरों को नहीं पड़ेगी सीईटी एग्जाम पास करने की जरुरत !

जानकारी के मुताबिक, हरियाणा स्टाफ सेलेक्शन कमीशन ने सीईटी संशोधन प्रस्ताव में इसे लेकर सुझाव दिया है, ऐसे में अगर हरियाणा सरकार इस पर फैसला लेती है तो अग्निवीरों को ग्रुप-सी के पदों पर भर्ती के लिए सीईटी एग्जाम देने की कोई जरुरत नहीं पड़ेगी।

ग्रुप-सी की भर्ती में अभी मिल रही इतनी छूट

ग्रुप-सी के पदों पर होने वाली भर्ती के लिए हरियाणा सरकार 5 फीसदी आरक्षण देने की घोषणा पहले ही कर चुकी है, इसके साथ ही अभ्यार्थियों को अधिकतम आयु सीमा में छूट देने की घोषणा की गई है. इसके तहत अग्निवीरों को 3 साल अतिरिक्त छूट हरियाणा सरकार दे रही है. इतना ही नहीं हरियाणा सरकार पहले ही पूर्व अग्निवीरों को राज्य पुलिस भर्ती और माइनिंग गार्ड भर्ती में 10 फीसदी आरक्षण देने का फैसला भी कर चुकी है।

केंद्र सरकार से भी अग्निवीरों को मिल रही है छूट

अग्निवीरों को कई भर्तियों में हरियाणा सरकार के अलावा केंद्र सरकार की ओर से भी आरक्षण दिया जा रहा है. इनमें बीएसएफ, सीआईएसएफ और सीआरपीएफ जैसी भर्ती शामिल है. इन भर्तियों में अग्निवीरों को आयु सीमा से लेकर फिजिकल टेस्ट तक में अतिरिक्त छूट दी जा रही है। 

घटना उस समय हुई जब चिड़िया घर देखने गया कुछ युवक शेरनी के पिंजरे के बाहर सेल्फी और वीडियो बना रहा थे। एक दीपक नाम का युवक बिल्कुल शेरनी के पिंजरे के दरवाजे के बाहर बैठा हुआ था और शेरनी उसके पीछे वीडियो में दिखाई भी दे रही है। इस दौरान शेरनी दरवाजे पर पंजा और टक्कर मारती हुई दिखाई दे रही है, इसके बाद अचानक युवक तेज गति से बाहर की तरफ भागता हुआ जा रहा है और युवक ने बताया कि दरवाजा इतना कमजोर था की शेरनी के धक्के से वह खुल गया और शेरनी पिंजरे से बाहर आ गई।

इस दौरान युवक ने बताया कि जैसे-तैसे उसकी जान बच पाई है। वहीं, इस घटना की सूचना मिलने पर चिड़ियाघर में मौजूद कर्मचारियों ने आनन-फानन में सभी लोगों को चिड़ियाघर से बाहर निकाला और शेरनी को वापिस पिंजरे में पहुंचाया। इधर, युवक ने बताया कि पिंजरे का दरवाजा इतना कमजोर था कि कोई छोटा बच्चा भी उसे तोड़ सकता है। युवक ने चिड़ियाघर की प्रबंधन टीम पर लापरवाही का आरोप लगाया हैऔर पर्यटकों की सुरक्षा को लेकर सवाल उठाए हैं और कहा कि चिड़ियाघर में मौजूद कर्मचारी ही इस लापरवाही के लिए जिम्मेदार है। 

Following the allegations, obscene video of the officer went viral after which he was suspended and booked for the charges. Apart from relevant sections of The Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, a case under sections Sections 377 and 506 of the IPC had been registered against Kulbhushan Bansal who was holding SDM position along with the charge of Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad of Hisar district.

Bansal was suspended by state government last evening following the complaint. The victim after sending complaint to  the National Commission for Scheduled Caste (NCSC), CM Window, Punjab and Haryana High Court and Hisar SP, has demande stricter action against the accused.

The majority of these openings are in Group-7, with 133 positions available, including roles such as Agriculture Inspector, Forest Ranger, and Marketing Officer. 

Group-3 follows with 93 positions across different departments.

Additionally, the recruitment includes 10 posts in Group-4, 19 in Group-5, and 27 posts in Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited. Group-9 has 25 openings, while Group-49A and 54 together have 40 positions available.

Common Eligibility Test (CET) Requirement

The HSSC has mandated the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for all the mentioned positions. Interested candidates can apply through the commission’s website HSSC Application Portal from August 5 to August 15 until midnight. 

The application portal will be closed after this period. 

Notably, candidates who have previously applied for these positions must reapply using their CET registration.

Eligibility Criteria

The commission has specified the eligibility and age criteria for these posts. Candidates must have passed Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in matriculation or higher education. The age limit for applicants is between 18 to 42 years. However, age relaxation will be provided to SC, BC-A, BC-B, PWD, and ESM candidates from Haryana, as per government instructions.

Haryana Group C CET Selection Process

The Haryana government conducted the CET for Group C preliminary exam. Based on this exam, candidates who rank among the top four times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the Group C mains examination. Those who pass the mains exam will then be appointed to various departments for their selected positions.

उत्तर रेलवे की ओर से जारी प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में 3 से 8 मई तक रद्द की गई सभी ट्रेनों की जानकारी दी है। साथ ही डायवर्जन और मूल और गंतव्य के परिवर्तन की जानकारी भी दी गई है। रेलवे ने कहा कि यह निर्णय अंबाला डिवीजन के सानेहवाल सेक्शन पर संभू रेलवे स्टेशन पर किसान आंदोलन के कारण लिया गया है।

ट्रेनों को वैकल्पिक मार्गों से किया डायवर्ट

उत्तर रेलवे ने कहा कि दिल्ली सराय रोहिल्ला एसी सुपरफास्ट एक्सप्रेस, जम्मू मेल, शान-ए-पंजाब एक्सप्रेस और श्री माता वैष्णो देवी कटरा एक्सप्रेस शामिल हैं। अपने सामान्य मार्गों से सीधे गंतव्य स्टेशन तक पहुंचने के बजाय कई प्रमुख ट्रेनों को वैकल्पिक मार्गों से डायवर्ट किया गया है। 

चंडीगढ़ होकर लुधियाना जाएंगी ट्रेनें

उत्तर रेलवे के एक अधिकारी ने कहा गया है कि अंबाला और लुधियाना के बीच सीधे चलने वाली ट्रेनें अब अंबाला से चंडीगढ़ जाएंगी और फिर लुधियाना जााएंगी। उत्तर रेलवे के एक अधिकारी ने कहा कि हम संभावित यात्रियों से अनुरोध करते हैं कि वे अपनी यात्रा की योजना बनाने से पहले हमारी वेबसाइट से इन मार्गों पर चलने वाली ट्रेनों की स्थिति पता कर लें।

The crash occurred near Unhani village in Kanina, as the bus, carrying nearly 40 students ranging from primary to secondary classes to the GL Public School, collided with a tree and subsequently overturned, as confirmed by local law enforcement authorities. Meanwhile, an FIR has been also lodged in connection with the accident.

In response to the dreadful incident, the Haryana Education Department has called for a meeting regarding vehicle safety policies which is scheduled for 3 pm today. The meeting to witness the participation of key stakeholders from across the state, including all District Education Officers, Elementary Education Officers, and Block Education Officers. Utilizing video conferencing technology, these officials will convene from various regions of the state to collectively address and formulate measures to prevent such tragic incidents in the future. 

Meanwhile, on Thursday evening the principal of the school whose bus toppled in Haryana's Mahendragarh, killing six students, has been arrested along with two others

The driver, who was allegedly drunk and leapt out of the bus just before it collided with a tree, has also been arrested along with the secretary of the trust that oversees the school. 

The bus belonged to the school, and documents showed that its fitness certificate had expired six years prior, in 2018. A state transport official has been suspended.

The incident sparked significant concerns regarding the safety protocols governing school transportation. 

As per the statement of Panipat DSP Dharmbir Kharb, “Diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years will no longer be permitted to operate in Panipat.”

Haryana’s new regulation prohibiting the entry of old vehicles in Panipat, will affect travellers from Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, and Himachal Pradesh who typically pass through Panipat en route to Delhi via Karnal. 

Travellers has been directed to use newer vehicles for their Delhi-bound journey.

Navdeep Jalbera along with his associate Gurkirat, was detained by Ambala police at Mohali airport on March 28. 

Navdeep Jalbera was officially arrested amidst tight security measures and an FIR under Section 307 and 379B levied against him. During the court proceedings, the Court granted a two-day remand of Navdeep Jalbera to police. 

Navdeep Jalbera’s lawyer, Advocate Rohit Jain, argued in court against the severity of the charges imposed on Navdeep, stating that they were unjustified. The police seek to gather information from Navdeep regarding the source of sticks, slingshots, modified tractors, and the Fortuner car, for which the court granted a two-day remand.
