According to the police, the accident took place around 3 am when the luxury sports car was travelling from Titwala towards Badlapur. Preliminary information suggests the vehicle was moving at nearly 250 kmph when the driver lost control. The car hit a divider and overturned, leading to a devastating impact.

The force of the collision completely destroyed the BMW, with its parts scattered across the highway. Eyewitnesses said the crash was so severe that body parts of the victims were found several metre away from the accident spot.

The deceased have been identified as Yogesh Dighe and Rikeba Jakap, both residents of Badlapur. They died on the spot. A third occupant, Anand, suffered serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Thane. The three were reportedly returning home after attending a birthday celebration when the tragedy occurred.

The police sent the bodies for post-mortem examination, while a forensic team inspected the crash site and collected evidence. Officials said an accidental death case has been registered and a detailed investigation is underway.

Investigators are also examining whether alcohol consumption played any role in the crash.

The incident took place in Mohani Khyavda village under Narwar police station limits. According to information provided by the family, the burglars entered the property late at night after cutting through the wire fencing surrounding the house.

The accused reportedly locked the room of Rachna Gurjar and her husband, Udal Singh Gurjar, from the outside, preventing them from stepping out while the theft was being carried out.

Rachna Gurjar alleged that the intruders first tampered with the CCTV surveillance system by turning the cameras upward, ensuring their movements were not captured. They then broke open locks of rooms and cupboards before stealing cash, gold and silver ornaments, electronic gadgets and other valuables.

Among the stolen items were approximately Rs 1.91 lakh in cash, a gold mangalsutra, four gold rings and silver jewellery. Several electronic gadgets and household valuables were also reported missing. In an unusual twist, the burglars allegedly took away a crate of energy drinks valued at around Rs 8,000 before fleeing the scene.

The theft came to light at around 4 am when Rachna Gurjar woke up to drink water and discovered that the room door had been locked from the outside. The family subsequently inspected the house and found that the valuables had been stolen. Police were informed immediately.

A police team reached the spot soon after receiving the complaint and began investigating the case. Officers are examining CCTV footage from nearby locations and gathering evidence to identify those involved in the burglary.

According to family members, Anandi had accompanied relatives for dinner at a restaurant on Sunday evening. After finishing her meal, she joined a group of children who were playing on the restaurant premises.

Witnesses said the children were engaged in a running game when Anandi unexpectedly slowed down and fell to the ground. Family members and bystanders immediately rushed to her aid before taking her to a nearby hospital.

Despite efforts by doctors, the teenager could not be saved and was declared dead during treatment.

A video circulating on social media reportedly captures the moment when Anandi collapsed while running. Authorities are examining the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Preliminary information suggests that the teenager may have suffered a cardiac arrest, though officials said the exact cause of death will be confirmed only after medical examination and further investigation.

In December 2024, a 14-year-old boy in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh reportedly died after collapsing during practice for a school sports competition. In another incident from the same district a month earlier, a 20-year-old woman died after suffering a suspected heart attack while running.

Officials have not yet released the final medical findings in Anandi's case. Further investigation is underway.

Police officials confirmed that the 700-kg animal was rescued following direct instructions from the government, which has now decided to preserve the rare buffalo at the National Zoo in the Bangladeshi capital.

Owner Muniruzzaman said officials approached him shortly before Eid and informed him that the government wanted to protect the animal because of its rarity and growing popularity.

“They told me the buffalo should be preserved instead of sacrificed, so I handed it over peacefully,” he said, adding that authorities promised compensation or another animal in return.

The buffalo had become something of a local celebrity long before the dramatic rescue. Social media users were fascinated by its unusual blonde hair, with many joking that it carried the hairstyle and “presence” of the American leader it was named after.

According to the former owner, the name was originally suggested by his brother because the buffalo’s golden hair looked uncannily similar to Donald Trump’s iconic hairstyle.

Officials at Dhaka’s National Zoo have already arranged a separate enclosure and appointed a dedicated caretaker for the animal. Authorities believe the buffalo is still young and can be raised for several more years.

Trisha has publicly supported Vijay’s political journey in recent months. Earlier this month, she visited Tirupati temple on her birthday and later reportedly visited Vijay’s residence in Chennai as election results began favouring TVK.

The two stars have shared screen space in several successful Tamil films and remain one of the most popular on-screen pairs in South Indian cinema. However, their frequent public appearances together have continued to spark rumours about their relationship, especially after reports emerged that Vijay’s wife had filed for divorce after nearly three decades of marriage.

Neither Vijay nor Trisha has addressed the rumours publicly. Yet, Trisha’s appearance at the oath-taking ceremony,  and her response to the criticism that followed has once again placed the actor at the centre of online conversation.

The viral clip, now widely circulating online, shows the Punjab Kings pacer casually walking through a local market alongside rumoured girlfriend Samreen Kaur. What grabbed fans’ attention even more was the complete absence of security personnel around the cricketer.

In the background of the video, a fan can be heard expressing surprise and saying, “Yeh dekho koi security nahi,” as Arshdeep moved around freely among the crowd without any visible restrictions.

The moment quickly sparked reactions across social media platforms, with many fans praising the Indian pacer for staying humble despite becoming one of the country’s most recognised cricket stars. Several users also pointed out how unusual it is these days to see leading IPL players walking openly in public areas without tight security arrangements.

This is not the first time Arshdeep and Samreen have fuelled relationship rumours. A few months ago, the left-arm pacer was spotted at an airport carrying a bag reportedly belonging to Samreen, which had already triggered speculation among fans. However, neither of them has officially spoken about the dating buzz so far.

While the off-field moment has gone viral online, Arshdeep’s focus will soon shift back to cricket as Punjab Kings gear up for a must-win clash against Delhi Capitals in the race for the IPL 2026 playoffs.

The chatter picked up pace following unconfirmed reports about Vijay’s personal life, though neither of the two has spoken publicly about any such claims.

The rumours gained further momentum after the two were reportedly spotted at a wedding reception in Chennai, sparking conversations across social media platforms. Despite the buzz, there has been no official confirmation, and most of the discussion remains speculative.

Without addressing the rumours directly, Trisha has shared a series of social media posts centered around positivity and inner peace, something many interpreted as her subtle response to the ongoing chatter.

She also recently made headlines after visiting the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, a moment that coincided with heightened attention around Vijay’s political journey.

CISF officials said that Max played an instrumental role in maintaining airport security during his tenure using his keen senses and alertness to respond effectively in several serious situations. 

Born on March 10, 2020, Max was inducted into the CISF on July 3 of the same year and stationed at Amritsar airport after extensive training.

While trained service dogs usually serve for about eight years, Max's tenure was cut short due to serious health conditions, leading to his early retirement after five years of service. 

The attendees were left visibly moved as the ceremony witness emotional scenes especially when his handler Head Constable Jagjit Singh bid him farewell, saying 'Love You Max'.

Fellow members of the dog squad paid tribute to Max by saluting him in recognition of his service. Max, too, responded in his own style by saluting the officers, winning hearts during the farewell event.

CISF officials said Max's key contribution to in strengthening airport security will always be remembered with immense pride.
