Sikh bus driver assaulted, beard pulled and vehicle stolen before it crashes in UK; assailant arrested| Watch

In another case reported from foreign shores, an incident involving attack on a Sikh bus driver and hijacking his vehicle before crashing into other vehicles has come to light in Telford, a city under Shropshire in the UK. According to details, police received information about an attack on Court Street in Madeley on Friday evening. According to viral videos and sources, a Sikh bus driver was attacked by an assailant, brutally beaten, and his beard was also pulled. During this attack, the driver was pushed out of the bus.



After allegedly removing the driver from the bus, the attacker took control of the vehicle and drove it recklessly from Park Way towards High Street on the wrong side of the road.

While driving, the suspect crashed into several vehicles, causing significant damage to multiple cars.

Eyewitnesses recorded the incident on video and immediately alerted the police. Officers reached the spot, stopped the bus and arrested the suspect.

The incident reportedly took place on Sunday on Golf Course Road, where the woman, identified online as Sia, was riding her Aprilia RS 457 along with members of her biking group.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, Sia said the occupants of a car began behaving aggressively while she was riding. She alleged that the car repeatedly tried to come close to her and that the people inside asked her to stop.

Sia claimed she kept riding to avoid being blocked and also asked the occupants to maintain a safe distance. According to her account, she suspected that the men inside the car were drunk.

She further alleged that the car continued to follow her before the driver suddenly tried to move in front of her motorcycle. The car then hit her bike, throwing her onto the road. The motorcycle was also dragged for a few metres before the car sped away.

The incident was captured on an action camera fitted to Sia's motorcycle.

Friend chased the car

Following the crash, one of Sia's friends reportedly chased the vehicle and confronted the driver at a traffic signal.

According to Sia, her friend told the driver that he was responsible for the collision. However, she alleged that the driver refused to accept responsibility and drove away from the signal.

Sia has appealed to the Gurugram Police to investigate the incident and take action against the driver. In her social media post, she also shared details identifying the vehicle, including its registration number and the name of the registered owner.

Video sparks outrage online

The video has triggered a strong reaction on social media, with users expressing concern over road safety and the alleged behaviour of the car occupants.

Several users tagged the Gurugram Police, Gurugram Traffic Police, Delhi Police and Haryana Police, asking authorities to investigate the matter. Some also called for an FIR and strict action against the driver.

Police action or an official statement in the matter is awaited.

According to the complaint, Anurag Yadav had booked the stay through Maker Baha Travel Agency on August 12, 2026. He reportedly checked into the five-star hotel with his wife and two children and stayed there from August 14 to August 23.

During their stay, the family allegedly used several hotel services, including lunch and dinner.

Family 'refuses' to pay at checkout

The dispute reportedly arose when the family was presented with a final bill of Rs 5.74 lakh at the time of checkout.

Yadav allegedly told the hotel that the travel agency responsible for the booking would make the payment. However, the agency reportedly told the hotel that no such payment arrangement had been agreed upon when the reservation was made.

With the payment still unsettled, the hotel approached the police.

Ravindra Singh, the property's liaison manager, lodged a complaint at the Ambamata police station in Udaipur.

Sub-Inspector Ajayraj Singh said the initial findings suggested a possible case of fraud. The police are looking into whether the tourist and the travel agency may have acted together as part of an alleged plan to avoid paying the hotel bill.

An investigation is currently underway and the allegations against the people involved have not yet been established.

The Udaipur incident comes shortly after another alleged hotel fraud case that made headlines across India.

In July, the police arrested 69-year-old Bingson John, who was accused of cheating more than 300 luxury hotels over a period of nearly three decades.

Investigators alleged that John used different identities and presented himself at various times as a foreign tourist guide, English teacher or yoga trainer. He allegedly stayed at five-star properties, used their facilities and left without clearing his bills. The police also accused him of taking valuable items from some hotels.

The latest case in Udaipur, however, is still being investigated. The police have yet to establish whether any fraud or collusion actually took place.

Despite the panic, passengers can be seen trying to comfort one another after the aircraft stabilised.

Passenger calls it 'Worst Two Hours of My Life'

A passenger named Minchen, who recorded one of the viral videos, described the experience as the "worst two hours of my life."

Sharing her experience on X, she urged travellers to keep their seat belts fastened throughout a flight, even when the seat belt sign is switched off. She wrote that she witnessed passengers being thrown into the air, hitting the cabin ceiling and suffering injuries.

"I saw people being thrown into the air, hitting their heads, and getting injured. For a while, I genuinely thought we weren't going to make it. I hope everyone is okay," she posted.

Passengers recall the terrifying moments

Several passengers said the aircraft experienced a sudden drop in altitude, causing people who were not securely restrained to be thrown from their seats. One passenger said he struck his head on the cabin roof before falling back into his seat.

Another passenger, Viviana from Italy, told ANI that everything appeared normal until the turbulence suddenly intensified.

According to her, her sister was lifted into the air from her seat during the turbulence, while her mother suffered a head injury. She also said a male passenger nearby had blood on his face.

Viviana described the incident as one of the most frightening experiences of her life, saying many passengers believed the aircraft might not make it safely.

Air India confirms safe landing

Air India said the flight landed safely in Delhi with 137 passengers, including three infants and eight crew members on board.

The airline stated that a few passengers and crew members who sustained minor injuries were taken to a medical facility at Delhi airport for precautionary examination immediately after landing.

Later, eight passengers and four cabin crew members were admitted to hospitals for detailed medical evaluation and treatment. Air India said all those admitted are in stable condition.

According to local Spanish officials, around 60,000 migrants entered Ceuta from Morocco over Thursday and Friday, overwhelming authorities in the small Spanish enclave.

The crossing turned tragic for many. Reports indicate that at least 57 people lost their lives, with fatalities caused by drowning or in a stampede during the mass movement toward the border.

By the following day, approximately 45,000 migrants had returned to Morocco, many after spending the night on the streets of Ceuta.

The exact reason behind the sudden surge remains uncertain.  According to Myriam Cherti, a senior researcher at the University of Oxford's Centre on Migration, Policy and Society, the immediate trigger for the mass movement has not yet been clearly established.

Authorities and researchers are continuing to examine what led thousands of people to attempt the risky journey within such a short period.

Why are people trying to reach Spain?

For many migrants, the crossing represents hope for better economic opportunities and a more secure future.

One of them, 21-year-old Abdulah Buji, travelled from northern Morocco to join those attempting to enter Ceuta.

As per the Associated Press, Buji said he believes Spain offers opportunities that are difficult to find in Morocco. "Spain gives you the chance to build your future, not like Morocco," he said.

The video of unique destination wedding was shared by an Assistant Public Relations Officer in the Himachal Pradesh Government, Ajay Banyal on his X handle (former Twitter) and reads, "A marriage like this too! Due to the girlfriend's persistence, a loving couple from Gujarat reached Spiti and decorated the mandap at -25 degrees. This is a first-of-its-kind case. A unique marriage took place today in Moorang, Spiti. This is an example of a destination wedding."

In another series of video shared by Go Himachal on X handle is also doing rounds on Internet which showcases the mandap all decorated and family members assisting bride and groom to complete the wedding rituals. The viral video ends with flower-decorated red car, departing from the venue. 

The video received mixed reactions and users labeled the couple's destination wedding as 'overacting', while others extended congratulations. While another humorously remarked, "Wedding and honeymoon accomplished.
