Virat Kohli wishes Sachin Tendulkar on his 47th birthday
Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Friday took to Twitter and extended wishes to legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also known as 'Master Blaster' on his 47th birthday.
Virat Kohli said in a tweet: "Happy birthday to the man whose passion for the game of cricket has inspired many. Wishing you an amazing year ahead paaji." Likewise, the coach of the Indian cricket team, Ravi Shastri, also wished the Master Blaster as he said: "Happy Birthday, Bossman. The legacy you've left behind in the sport is immortal. God bless Champ."

Meanwhile, Suresh Raina said in a tweet: "Happy birthday Sachin Tendulkar paji! Wishing you lots of health & happiness always. I have been so fortunate to share many memorable innings with you, especially my debut 100 & when you completed your 100th century."
Sachin Tendulkar has created several records during his career. The Maharashtra-born cricketer made his debut in the Test cricket on November 15, 1989. In the same year on December 18, he played his first ODI match for the country. The cricketer has the most number of runs in the longest format of the game, amassing 15,921 runs. He had scored 51 Test centuries, the most by any player.

Sachin Tendulkar has represented the country in the six World Cups during his career that lasted 24 years. He was also part of the 2011 World Cup-winning squad. This year, Tendulkar has decided not to celebrate his birthday due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis in the country.
