While the nation is witnessing coronavirus crisis, prominent personalities from the world of entertainment, cricketers, and sportspersons have all been pitching in with donations to the governments and authorities to help them in the fight against the pandemic. After sportspersons like MS Dhoni, PV Sindhu and several others contributed to the cause, the Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has donated a huge amount of Rs 50 lakh. As per the report, the donation has been divided into two parts, with INR 25 lakh for the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and 25 lakh into the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. The contribution from Tendulkar is the biggest when it comes to the Indian sports fraternity. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, through a Pune-based NGO, donated Rs 1 lakh. Earlier, the 46-year-old Sachin Tendulkar had compared the fight against Coronavirus to that of the challenges a player faces in Test cricket. Just like the longest format of Test, coronavirus demands determination and patience considering the unpredictability factor when it comes to the source through which the COVID 19 can spread.
