SAD-BSP MPs continue to protest against farm laws outside Parliament

SAD-BSP MPs have been protesting against farm laws outside the Parliament since the first day of Monsoon Session 2021.

Shiromani Akali Dal continued to protest against farm laws outside the Parliament during the Monsoon Session 2021. Former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal, and other SAD, BSP leaders were present during the occasion.

After yesterday's incident, Harsimrat Kaur Badal recalled that she had resigned from the Union Cabinet just to stand by farmers. "The whole nation knows about it. They are opposing those who are fighting for farmers' cause which means they are not with farmers," she said.

Meanwhile, senior SAD leader Balwinder Singh Bhunder slammed Ravneet Bittu for misbehaving with former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal outside the Parliament on Wednesday.

"Shiromani Akali Dal had raised its voice against the farm laws while it was being passed in the Parliament. We even broke the alliance with BJP to support farmers," he said.

SAD-BSP MPs have been protesting against farm laws outside the Parliament since the first day of Monsoon Session 2021.

Thousands of farmers have been protesting against farm laws and have been seeking a guarantee on MSP. There have been several rounds of meeting between the Centre and farmer unions but all of them remained inconclusive.
