SAD delegation to meet Governor on October 16
A high level delegation of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), led by party president S Sukhbir Singh Badal, will meet the Governor of Punjab, Shri VP Singh Badnour on 16 October at 12:30PM and apprise him about some urgent issues of the state.
In a statement, Senior Vice president of the SAD and party spokesman Dr. Daljit Singh said that SAD delegation would submit a memorandum to the Governor, briefing him about issues like UT, Chandigarh administration’s discrimination with Punjabi language while making recruitment of teachers, ongoing strike by teachers in Punjab, denying of scholarship to SC students, reducing of fuel prices, and deterioration of law and order in the state. Senior leaders of the party would be a part of this delegation he added. -PTC News
