SAD flays Arvind Kejriwal, terms AAP's 'health guarantee' Hindi translation of its promises
Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Thursday lashed out at AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for making all those promises, which had already been made by his party. Arvind Kejriwal, who is on a two-day Punjab visit ending Thursday in the run-up to the 2022 Assembly elections in the state, promised the people of the state the best healthcare, if the AAP was voted to power in the state. However, reacting to this, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal called all promises made by AAP's Kejriwal mere "Hindi translation of SAD promises". "Just heard @ArvindKejriwal "health bullet-in", a Hindi translation of all commitments made by @Akali_Dal_ already on August 3. Kejri surely excels in mimicry, copying ideas of others. Nothing new in announcements, except the translation part," he tweeted. In another tweet, Sukhbir Singh Badal said, "The Master of Melodrama staged a "Main jhooth nahi bolta" show, and then lied outrageously on building flyovers hospitals and claiming ongoing schemes as new. RTI queries have already ripped these lies apart saying no new flyover, hospitals built by Kejri CIRCUS in Delhi." It shows their awareness that they are not trusted by Punjabis. Punjabis are too self respecting to be remote-ruled by outsiders," says another tweet by Sukhbir Singh Badal. Earlier, senior SAD leader Harcharan Bains tweeted,"@Arvind Kejriwal has re-packaged in Hindi what @officeofssbadal has already promised in Punjabi. Mother tongue is the only difference.
