SAD Protest against violence and firing by congressmen
Sukhbir Singh Badal, former Chief Minister Punjab along with Bikramjit Majithia, Kamal Sharma former BJP President and Akali leaders and workers stages protest in front of the Police Bhawan at Ferozepur for registration of false cases against the 13 senior Akali leaders and workers in the firing incident at Mallanwala on Wednesday. Sukhbir Singh Badal in his address said we will continue our protest against the government who are bent upon killing the democratic set up in the state. Sukhbir Badal also accused the role of M.S.Chhina IG in handling the affairs in the state. He said, we have started maintaining the diary and will deal with them sternly on coming into power. Earlier Bikramjit Singh Majithia condemned the district administration for denying NOC to the candidates for filing nominations for MC polls and falsely involving the persons to restrain them from contesting the elections. In a taunting tone, Majithia said, we can well imagine the future of the government who could not enjoy their honeymoon period even – the first year of the term of five years.
