Shiromani Akali Dal leaders including party president Sukhbir Singh Badal, former minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, and BSP MPs, on Tuesday, protested against the farm laws outside the Parliament on Day 2 of the Monsoon Session 2021. Here’s what Canadian PM Justin Trudeau said on Beant Kaur immigration case Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal condemned the NDA government for turning down the adjournment motion moved by the party in conjunction with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and others demanding repeal of the three farm laws. The SAD President protested against this along with former minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal and BSP MPs including its national general secretary Satish Mishra outside parliament. He had said the SAD-BSP alliance would continue to protest to demand that the demands of farmers be discussed in parliament and duly accepted by the union government. Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till 2 PM and 1 PM, respectively, following the uproar in the Houses by the opposition. -PTC News
