As scores of relatives of victims of Duesshera Rail tragedy at Amaritsar gathered this morning protesting gross apathy of the government and its failure to honour it’s commitment, the Shiormani Akali Dal(SAD) and BJP led by former  chief minister Sukhbir  Singh Badal articulated the genuine demands of the victims.

However, the government adopted a stoic silence which forced the SAD-BJP combine to state a walk out in protest.

The affected relatives of victims who lost their lives in ghastly tragedy three months ago had reaching winter Chandigarh to demonstrate that the promises made soon after the tragedy had been not been honored. And the result is the families of victims are living pecuniary, misery, starvation , ailing and look for treatment of their injured.

On  his was to assembly, Sukhbir Badal met this group and listened patiently to their grievance  and assured that he would raise all their concerns on the floor of the house.

Later echoing the same sentiments, party general secretary Bikram Majithia said the party would make all possible efforts to get them justice. The victims said the local minister had promise job for the victim’s  family  so  far no job haven offered to anyone. Majtihia said they only make false promises and tell lies.

The main of the victims was against Navjot Sidhu and his wife who they dubbed as the main culprits thought they themselves have given a clean chit to themselves.
