Sangrur: 2 men shot at guard, snatch Rs 9 lakh at ATM In a robbery on Monday morning, two armed men riding a motorcycle shot at an ATM guard of IDBI and snatched Rs 9 lakh in cash. He also snatched the guard’s gun before fleeing. Leela Singh, injured guard was admitted to Civil Hospital here. The van of a private company had come to the ATM to upload cash, said Sangrur City SHO Vinod Kumar. The two men were with covered faces on the motorcycle and fired at security guard Leela Singh, who was standing outside the ATM kiosk. The accused then entered the ATM, snatched the cash bag and fled. DSP Sukhdev Singh, along with a police team, reached the spot and started investigation. -PTC News
