Punjab: Five people charred to death as car catches fire in Sangrur
Punjab, Sangrur Road Accident: In a shocking incident, at least five people were burnt alive after they met with an accident as their car caught fire after colliding with a truck at Sunam road in Sangrur on Monday night.
According to the information, the Sangrur road accident took place at around 11:30 pm on Monday night after a car collided with the truck on Sunam road.

The collision led to a spark in the car's wire and hence caught fire.
The central locking system of the car was jammed hence all five people inside the car were not able to escape from the burning car.

All five of them were charred to death on the spot. Reportedly, they were returning from a reception party.
In a recent incident, a senior advocate and his assistant were burnt alive after they met with an accident in Hoshiarpur on Saturday night. The car caught fire after colliding with a tree in Hoshiarpur.
The deceased were identified as senior advocate Bhagwant Kishore Gupta and his assistant, advocate Siya Khullar.
The central locking system of their car was also jammed due to which they were stuck inside the car and died.
