SC directs 11 states to take action against assault on Kashmiris

SC directs 11 states to take action against assault on Kashmiris  The Supreme Court on Friday directed 11 states to take necessary action against the assault of Kashmiris in the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attack. The court has directed Chief Secretaries and DGPs of all the 11 states to prevent the incidents of threat and social boycott of Kashmiris. Also Read: Stubble burning: NGT begins hearing in presence of Chief Secretaries of 4 States including Punjab A Bench comprising of Justice Sanjiv Khanna and headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi also directed the police officers to deal with the cases of assault on Kashmiris. The Bench also asked the Union Ministry of Home Affairs to make these police officers more public. So that people facing assault and threat could approach them at the earliest.
