Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbhandak Committee invites Bibi Jagir Kaur to visit Sri Kartarpur Sahib
Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbhandak Committee (PSGPC) has invited Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur and Jathedar Akal Takhat to visit Kartarpur Sahib while welcoming the demand of Kaur for the re-opening of the Kartarpur corridor.
In a letter sent to Bibi Jagir Kaur, PSGPC stated that the committee will welcome the delegation at Zero line and make all arrangements for the delegation to start a new beginning of "Corridor of Peace".

PSGPC welcomed Bibi Jagir Kaur's demand from the Indian Government for immediate reopening of the Kartarpur Corridor. It also urged the Government of India to reopen Kartarpur Corridor and give peace a chance.

The letter stated that the COVID-19 situation was fully under control in Pakistan and that there was no problem in re-opening the corridor.
The letter reads: "Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) welcomes the statement of Bibi Jagir Kaur, President Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), India who demanded immediate reopening of the Indian side of the Kartarpur corridor from the Indian Government on 7 July 2021."
"PSGPC fully supports the demand of SGPC, India, and re-assures here that all the arrangements for Indian Sikh yatrees will be made in a befitting manner to facilitate them during their yatra of Darbar Sahib Kartarpur PSGPC would also like to highlight here that the COVID-19 situation is totally under control in Pakistan and we are looking forward to an early decision from Indian Government to reopen Kartarpur Corridor for yatrees," it added.
"At this historic moment of reopening of Kartarpur Corridor, PSGPC would also like to extend an invitation to Bibi Jagir Kaur, President Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), India along with her team and Jathedar Akal Takhat Giani Harpreet Singh Ji to visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur via Corridor," it stated.
"PSGPC will make all the arrangements for the visit of SGPC and will welcome the delegation at zero points of Pakistan side of the border to make a new beginning for "Comidor of Peace" as described by UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres," it concluded.
