Even after 71 years of Independence, a primary school in Ajnala district of Amritsar Punjab still struggles to have proper infrastructure for the students. These is no roof on top and no place to hide from the adverse weather condition. Students from about 6 nearby villages study in this primary school under a water tank. What's shocking is the fact that nobody including the government has paid attention to the state of this institute. Instead of being a light house of education, this place has proved to be a trouble in many aspects. ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਅਜਾਦੀ ਦੇ 71 ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਸਕੂਲ ਨੂੰ ਇਮਾਰਤ The school has about 100 students and 5 teachers. In the name of a school building, it only has a washroom and a kitchen along with fields on both the sides. While the country got liberated from slavery years back, this school in Amritsar struggles to provide a basic infrastructure to the students.  Winters or summers, these students study under the open sky in the adverse weather conditions. ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਅਜਾਦੀ ਦੇ 71 ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਸਕੂਲ ਨੂੰ ਇਮਾਰਤ As the villagers have insufficient resources to admit their children in private schools, hence they are left with no option but to admit them in this school.
