Senior prison jailer injured in Accidental Firing
A senior prison officer was injured in an accidental firing on Tuesday in Madhya Pradesh. The police officer received bullet injuries when a pistol went off accidentally during the annual firing exercise of the jail department. The incident took place at the Revti Shooting Range of the Border Security Force.

According to the media reports, the prison official was cleaning his 9MM pistol during the exercise. He accidentally pressed the trigger. The bullet pierced through the thigh of the officer, identified as KK Agnihotri.
He was rushed to the government-run Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital. The doctors told the media that his condition is stable.
