Sepoy killed by Pak rangers in J&K : Ceasefire violation

Sepoy killed by Pakistan rangers in J&K : Ceasefire violation : Sepoy of 23 years  was killed in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan  rangers in Krishna Ghati of Jammu &Kashmir sector along Line of Control. According to the information , Sepoy Mandeep Singh belonged to Alampur village in Punjab and is survived by his father Gurnaam Singh.

According to an official report, "The Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms and automatics since morning 08:20 am in response to it Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively."Sepoy killed by Pak rangers in J&K : Ceasefire violationThe statement said that however, in the exchange of fire, Sepoy Mandeep Singh was grievously injured and succumbed to his injuries. Mandeep Singh was a brave soldier. The nation will always remain indebted to him for his supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty, the statement added.


In the meantime, one civilian was killed a paramilitary soldier was injured. Saturday becomes the third consecutive day of shelling of civilian areas and border outposts (BoPs) in India by the Pakistan Rangers. It is to be mentioned that at least 11 civilians were injured across Jammu & Kashmir in the various ceasefires firing from across the border.
