Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has  announced to support decision of the SGPC to reject Congress government appointed Justice Ranjit Singh (retd.) Commission in Punjab to probe sacrilege incidents occurred in the state of Punjab. They said that once again conspiracy hatched by the Congress  party to  weaken top sikh institutions has been exposed before the people. Addressing a joint press conference here today, the DSGMC General Secretary S. Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Senior Vice President S. Harmeet Singh Kalka, Senior leader Avtar Singh Hit, Kuldeep Singh Bhogal, Joint Secretary Amarjit Singh Pappu and other leaders said that since the time of Indira Gandhi Congress party was trying to weaken holiest places of sikh religion including top institutions Sri Akal Takht Sahib. They said that Justice Ranjit Singh Commission is working as a puppet for the Congress  party and acts as per its dictates. They said that  DSGMC fully supports and endorses the decision of the SGPC to out rightly reject the Justice Ranjit Singh Commission and  Congress party will not be allowed to succeed with its conspiracies. They said that motive of the Justice Ranjit Singh Commission is to cause maximum damage to the image of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and SGPC, so it hatched conspiracy to issue summons. They said that Justice Ranjit Singh Commission was entrusted with the work on enquiry of unfortunate incidents of sacrilege occurred in Punjab but instead of doing this work it is following political dictates of the Congress party. They said that is it wanted to conduct probe thoroughly then it should have gone to the place where these unfortunate incidents occurred and meet the real witnesses of the incidents but this work was never on its agenda. -PTC News-
