She left me because of my career choice: Badshah on being dumped by his love
Bollywood rapper and singer Badshah said he was dumped by the girl he loved because of his career choice. In an interview, he said, "I was in love with a girl. I was probably three-year-old when I fell in love with her. She left me because it (rapping) was not a proper choice." Badshah gave prominent hit numbers like DJ Waley Babu, Wakhra Swag, Heartless, Mercy, Paagal among others. He said his parents also had reservations about his musical career, but they came around when they realised that he was making good money. Badshah said, "When I brought an expensive car and parked it in front of my house, Dad asked, 'Whose car is this?' 'It's mine', I replied." Then, when he told his father that he does music it occured to him that rapping can be lucrative too. Badshah said, "For him (father), what mattered was, 'Are you making enough money to survive?' "It's fine if you are on Television and people are chasing you for selfies, but where is the money?
