Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced on Friday that Shiromani Akali Dal and BJP will contest the Lok Sabha

Akali Dal's Haryana unit President Sharanjit Singh Satha and BJP Haryana President Shubhash Barla were also present during the announcement.

Earlier SAD and BJP had jointly contested the Lok Sabha Polls in 2014. The BJP won the majority in the Assembly and Manohar Lal Khattar was chosen to head the new government.
