Sukhbir Badal announces 19-member core committee of Shiromani Akali Dal
Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday announced a 19-member committee, including former and senior leaders of the party. Former MLA Jagmit Singh Brar has been named a member of SAD's core committee.
Others include Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal, Balwinder Singh Bhunder, Jathedar Tota Singh, Charanjeet Singh Atwal, Nimal Singh Kahlon, Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Bibi Jagir Kaur, Dr. Upinderjit Kaur, Sikander Singh Maluka, Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Bikram Singh Majithia, Hari Singh Zira, Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Gulzar Singh Ranike, Surjit Singh Rakhra, Baldev Singh Man and Jagmeet Singh Brar.
The SAD spokesperson Daljit Singh Cheema said that Sukhbir Singh Badal also announced Jagir Kaur as the head of the Women wing of Akali Dal and Gulzar Singh Ranike as a head for SC wing.

NK Sharma has been given Beopar Mandal cell. The party president also announced Parambans Singh Bunty Romana as leader of the party's youth wing.
