Show moral courage to severe links with killers of Sikhs: Sukhbir Singh Badal

Chandigarh: The Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal today asked the Congress leaders from Punjab to “ show some the moral courage to severe all connections with the killers of the thousands of Sikhs. “These killers were not only sponsored and mobilized by the senior leaders of the Congress party but actually led from the front by none other than the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and other members of the High Command including Jagdish Tytler and Kamal Nath. No Congress leader from Punjab has shown any twitch of conscience in waiting at the doors of these killers for petty political favours,” said Mr Badal in a hard hitting statement here this afternoon. Badal was commenting on the report of the SIT headed by S N Dhingra , Justice (Retired) of the Delhi High Court “ The report has removed even the last , thin fig-leaf from the Congress guilt and conclusively proved that the 1984 massacre of the innocent Sikhs was as preplanned and premeditated genocide . Punjabis really find it hard to believe that the Congress leaders from their state, especially those belonging the Sikh community, can sleep peacefully after dining and wining with the murderers of their own innocent kinsmen.” The Congressmen from Punjab simply clapped when Rajiv Gandhi justified the brutal killing of thousands of innocent Sikhs, with that infamous comparison of the “big tree falling to make the earth tremble,’ Badal said, adding that Rajiv Gandhi actually forgot that no tree in this world is big enough to make the world tremble and what happened was in 1984 was an outrage against mankind and against Nature. The Congress party will have to pay for it for centuries to come. But the Congmen from Punjab are still happy having sold the blood of thousands of innocent Sikhs to purchase the spoils of power. They won’t be able to evade the Justice of Nature forever” said Badal. The former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab further said it won’t be long before the law of the country catches up with the likes of Kamal Nath too. “We are grateful to the judiciary of the country for showing persistence in ensuring justice to the Sikhs. But even the judiciary needs the prosecution to bring facts of the crime before it. That is where we are grateful to the NDA governments led by Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee Sahib and now Shri Narendra Modi,” he said. The SAD president said that for over thirty years, the Congress High Command kept protecting even the pettiest criminals used by them for executing this genocide for fear of being exposed by them. https://www.ptcnews.tv/sad-thanks-ppcc-chief-sunil-jakhar-power-scam-punjab-news-en/ “Like true mafia-gang culture , the Gandhi household has always stood like a rock behind their hired killers and sponsored arsonists. Rajiv Gandhi not only delighted in being the gang leader of these killers but even rewarded them with cabinet berths when one eminent citizen of the country after the other was coming forth with evidence of the direct role played by henchmen of the Gandhi clan,” said Badal, adding that it was only after a stable non-Congress government was formed under Atal Behari Vajpayee that the skeletons began to tumble out of the Congress closets. Badal said that powerful lead- killers of thousands of innocent Sikhs, including the right hand-men of Rajiv Gandhi, Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler would never have been exposed nor the process of making them pay for their gory sins started and carried forward but for the personal and deeply humane interest shown by Vajpayee Sahib. “But what shocks everyone in Punjab is the brazen-faced manner in which Congress leaders from Punjab continued and still continue to serve the assassins of their own community,” said Badal. -PTC News
