Shiv Sena-BJP relation is like Aamir Khan-Kiran Rao relationship: Sanjay Raut
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Monday referred the post-divorce relationship between actor Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao to define the political paths of his party and BJP. He said that though they were separated but the friendship remains between the former alliance partners.
Aamir Khan, after announcing that he and Kiran Rao had divorced after 15-years of marriage, had said, that their relationship changed but they were still together.

Sanjay Raut said referred to the relationship of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. Their paths may have separated but they are still friends, he said, adding that similarly, Shiv Sena and BJP were separated but friendship remains the same.

There will be friendship in politics, but this doesn't mean that we are going to form government in Maharashtra, Raut said.
Adding, he said that "there are differences, but as I said, Sena and BJP are not India-Pakistan. There are meetings and talks but now our paths have diverged." "In politics, paths have separated,” he said.
Sanjay Raut's was responding to BJP leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis who said that both the parties were "not enemies".
On being asked about possibilities of BJP allying with Shiv Sena, Fadnavis replied: "There were no ifs and buts in politics. There might be some differences with Shiv Sena but we are not enemies."
