Shocking! Seven-year-old girl raped, murdered in Palwal village in Haryana
Palwal Rape Case: In a shocking incident, a seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped and strangled to death by a 22-year-old in a village in Palwal district of Haryana, the police said.
The accused has been arrested, the police added.

The girl was raped in Palwal in Haryana on Monday when the girl’s neighbour, Anand, lured her while her parents were not at home. He took her to a nearby field and committed the crime, the police said, adding that he dumped the body in a pit.

As the girl’s parents returned home and failed to find her, they filed a missing complaint after which her body was found.
During the preliminary investigation in the Palwal rape case, it was revealed that Anand was the only person in their locality to have skipped work on the day when the crime took place.
Likewise, Anand was detained. During an intense questioning during which he confessed to the crime, the police added.
According to the information, the girl’s parents are daily wagers who hail from Madhya Pradesh, the police said, adding the accused, a labourer belongs to the same state.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against him under relevant Sections of the Indian Penal Code at Mundkati police station.
