Shooters Manu Bhaker, Saurabh Chaudhary to spearhead Indian challenge in the 2018 Youth Olympic Games Young shooter Saurabh Chaudhary, who did India proud with his gold medal performance in the just concluded Asian Games in Jakarta, and teenage shooting prodigy Manu Bhaker will be the star attractions of Indian contingent participating in the third Youth Olympic Games to be held at Buenos Aires, Argentina, from October 6 to 18. India is sending a 68-member squad to the games. At the Youth Olympic Games sendoff ceremony held in the national capital, an Indian sponsor  shared its stainless steel bottles with all athletes present and encouraged them to pledge not to use plastic bottles as a healthy practice for themselves and the environment. The sonsors through its hydration experts, also emphasized on the need for the young athletes to focus on hydration techniques both prior to and after taking part in their respective sports. Star youth athletes including Manu Bhaker, Vivek Sagar Prasad, Lalremsiami, Mehuli Ghosh and Saurabh Choudhary, all took part in an interactive preparatory session with  hydration experts to corroborate healthy levels of hydration. These young athletes will be competing in 13 different sports including Recurve Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Hockey 5s, Judo, Rowing, Shooting, Sport Climbing, Swimming, Table Tennis, Weightlifting and Wrestling. -PTC NEWS
