Sidhu Moosewala comes under scanner again
Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala has again come under the scanner for repeatedly using objectionable lyrics in a song. Akal Takht acting Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh has directed the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) to take strict action again him for singing the song with objectionable content. The SGPC registered a complaint against him with the Amritsar Police Commissioner on September 22. However, it was withdrawn after Moosewala submitted an official apology. But before doing that, he sang the same song abroad recently. Giani Harpreet Singh said, “Despite warning, he didn’t refrain from bringing disgrace to the highly revered Sikh woman Mai Bhago in his song and he is liable to face action.” -PTC News
