Coronavirus Punjab Updates: The daily new cases of coronavirus in Punjab have dipped below 3,000-mark as the state on Sunday recorded 2,627 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 5,65,415.
Ludhiana, once the worst-affected district, reported just 298 cases of COVID-19, Bathinda reported 295, Jalandhar 195, SAS Nagar 182, Patiala 159, Amritsar 152, Fazilka 143, Hoshiarpur 141, Ferozepur 133, and Mansa 125.

Likewise, Muktsar reported 123 new cases, Faridkot 105, Gurdaspur 98, Sangrur 93, Pathankot 84, Kapurthala 83, Ropar 55, FG Sahib 43, SBS Nagar 39, Barnala 33, Moga 25, and Tarn Taran 23.

Meanwhile, the total number of discharges in the state has increased to 5,11,720 after 5,371 new recoveries were reported in 24 hours, the Health Department stated while giving coronavirus updates about Punjab.
Amritsar reported 300 new recoveries, Barnala 58, Bathinda 613, Faridkot 162, Fazilka 296, Ferozpur 154, FG Sahib 85, Gurdaspur 135, Hoshiarpur 262, Jalandhar 502, Kapurthala 91, Ludhiana 772, Mansa 168, Moga 56, Muktsar 399, Pathankot 173, Patiala 381, Ropar 85, Sangrur 85, SAS Nagar 448, SBS Nagar 64, and Tarn Taran 82.
The death toll in Punjab due to COVID-19 has increased to 14,432 after 127 fresh deaths were recorded in 24 hours.
Among new deaths, Amritsar recorded 19, Barnala 2, Bathinda 13, Faridkot 5, Fazilka 3, Ferozpur 1, Gurdaspur 10, Hoshiarpur 6, Jalandhar 4, Kapurthala 2, Ludhiana 12, Mansa 6, Moga 3, SAS Nagar 7, Muktsar 6, Pathankot 3, Patiala 6, Ropar 5, Sangrur 9, SBS Nagar 3, Tarn Taran 2.
