Sikkim: Three Army jawans killed, 3 critically injured as truck falls into gorge

In a major road accident, three Army jawans were killed while three other soldiers were critically injured after a truck, they were traveling in, fell into a gorge in East Sikkim on Wednesday. The road accident took place at 6th Mile on New Jawahar Lal Nehru Road in Sikkim which connects Gangtok with Tsomgo Lake and Nathula near the India-China border. The driver and two other soldiers died on the spot, the police said.
