SIT waits in Vain A Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Punjab police today waited in vain for permission of the District Magistrate to interrogate Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim in Behalal Kalan and Kotakpura related cases. The SIT investigating the incidents of police firing in Behalal Kalan and Kotakpura wanted to interrogate the Dera chief after some developments in case surfaced. The SIT, however, has not yet been able to question the Dera head. It was awaiting some formalities to be completed. He has also been convicted in a separate case for the murder of journalist Ramchandra Chatrapati. Earlier on March 19, a Faridkot court had allowed the SIT to question Ram Rahim inside the jail. - PTC NEWS
