Six fake travel agents booked for fraud in Amritsar The police has booked six fake travel agents for duping lakhs on Wednesday in Amritsar. Two Amritsar residents filed a complaint against the accused of defrauding lakhs of money on the pretext of sending them abroad. The accused assured them Malaysian work visas. But, neither the victims were sent to Malaysia nor returned their money. Acting on the complaint, the police has booked the accused identified as Mahesh Kumar, alias Archit, of Om Building, Jalandhar, Sameer Hawala of Shankar village in Jalandhar, Somya, Sunil Kumar, Bharti and Sanjiv Bakshi of Faizpura.
