The Yamuna Expressway saw a major pile-up as nearly two dozen cars, including a bus, crashed into each other due to the smog in the national capital region. The injured have been admitted to various nearby hospitals and are undergoing treatment. publive-image The incident was first reported near the stretch situated nine miles from Dankaur police circle in Greater Noida. Meanwhile, the Expressway stretch under Mahavan police circle in Mathura also witnessed cars crashing into each other near the 125 milestone. In another incident this morning, four persons, including two drivers, were killed and at least seven injured when a truck and a Punjab Roadways bus collided near Kari Kalan village on the Ferozepur-Fazilka road in Mamdot block of the district this morning. “Six people received minor injuries and were shifted to Kailash Hospital where they were discharged within an hour’s time after being given first aid. None of the persons had received any critical injury,” Dankaur’s station house officer Farmood Ali Pundir said. Smog had claimed at least six lives in mishaps across the state yesterday. -PTC News-
