Snatcher held, 8 mobiles, 3 two-wheelers recovered in Chandigarh
Chandigarh police has arrested a snatcher and recovered 8 mobiles and 3 two-wheelers from his possession on Wednesday. The accused, identified as Abhishek Kumar, alias Chetu, hailing from Burail village, was arrested at a Naka on January 6.

Police recovered a mobile phone from him, which was snatched in December 2018. The police procured the remand of Abhishek Kumar. It led to the recovery of two motorcycles, eight mobile phones and a laptop. With his arrest, police cracked four cases which were registered at the Sector 34 police station.

Police briefed media about the accused and the crimes committed by him. Police said that the accused was a habitual offender and also a drug addict.
