Statue of Sikh soldier vandalized after less than a week
A statue of a Sikh soldier which was unveiled in less than a week ago has been vandalized. A graffiti was done on the ‘Lions of the Great War Bronze’ statue.
A thick black line was drawn across the words, ‘Great War’ and words ‘Sepoys no more ‘was added to it. According to the authorities, the graffiti has now been removed.

According to the media sources, black and gold paint was used to vandalize the monument. Police has decided to treat this vandalism as a criminal offense.
The statue represents all South Asians who were a part of world wars. The public demanded that the culprit should be caught soon.
