Delhi: Strong winds expected, temperature likely to soar to 43 degrees Strong surface winds are expected to sweep Delhi today, the temperature is expected to soar up to 43 degrees Celsius, as per reports by the MET department. “The wind speed will be around 20-25 kms/hr and after this there will be mainly clear sky with temperature soaring up to 43 degrees celsius,” a MET official said. Meanwhile, Punjab, Haryana also witness one of the hottest days of the month today. Maximum Temperature very likely to remain above 40 deg.C in many parts of Punjab during next 3-4 days. The national capital recorded the hottest day of the season on Monday with the mercury touching 44.2 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal, as recorded in the Palam observatory. The minimum temperature recorded on Tuesday morning was 26.2 degrees Celsius, according to the official.
