Student requests CJI Bobde to postpone NEET and JEE (Mains) exam 2020

NEET and JEE (Mains) Exam 2020: Several people have been asking to postpone or cancel the NEET and JEE (Mains) exam 2020. Meanwhile, a 17-year-old JEE aspirant has written a letter to the Chief Justice of India (CJI), Sharad Arvind Bobde, on Monday to postpone the JEE and NEET exams in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and flood crisis in parts of the country. Since he is a minor, the Supreme Court lawyer Alakh Alok Srivastava has assisted him, after the 17-year-old student requested him to submit his letter to the CJI. The Supreme Court, on August 17, dismissed a petition seeking the postponement of the NEET and JEE (Mains) exam, scheduled to be held in September 2020. The apex court had observed that the career of students cannot be put at risk for long. Recently, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood had appealed for the postponement of the JEE and NEET exams. The government has an opportunity to excel by postponing JEE and NEET for 60 days. Make it happen and bring those smiles back. Students and Govt. can prepare in this time window."
