Student drowns in background while friends are busy taking selfie
Selfie fever claims life of 17-year-old student on Monday. While his friends were busy taking a selfie, this boy drowned in a pond near Karnataka's Kanakapura. The deceased has been identified as G Vishwas, a student of National College in Jayanagar, who went for trekking with 21 other students. The incident came to light after Vishwas' friends started searching for him and came across a picture that captured the boy drowning, while they struck poses for the camera. After informing the team coordinator, they went back to the pond and found his body floating. -PTC News
