Class IX student stabbed to death in Chandigarh He avenged a slap with a stab. A student of class IX was stabbed to death after a fight at a wedding. An 18-year-old Rajesh was a resident of New Indira Colony, Mani Majra. He was studying in a Government school. He was stabbed near his house on Monday afternoon. Also Read: Student's killing: accused wanted to 'defame school' The victim was rushed to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16. He later succumbed to his injuries. According to the police, the stabbing incident took place around 3:30 PM. According to the statement given by victim’s friends, they were on their way to the motor market. The accused was waiting for the victim near his house. Shivam attacked them as soon as they reached there. The accused stabbed him on chest and stomach. He even tried stabbing to the victim’s friends. The PCR team arrived and rushed the victim to the hospital. The police said that on October 13, the victim had a fight with the suspect at a wedding. The victim along with his friends was making fun of the suspect after which the quarrel between the two started. This incident was a fallout of that quarrel.
