Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal and former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Monday remembered Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha on his martyrdom day.
"Glowing tributes to the legendary revolutionary and courageous patriot Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha, an icon of the Ghadar Movement, on his martyrdom day. His supreme sacrifice for the nation at the young age of 19 will always remain a source of inspiration for all of us," the Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal said.
"Remembering the revolutionary freedom fighter Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha on his martyrdom day. The epitome of intelligence, indomitable will, and patriotism, he sacrificed his life at the tender age of 19 and became an inspiration to the likes of Shaheed Bhagat Singh," Harsimrat Kaur Badal wrote.
"I pay my tribute to Kartar Singh Sarabha Ji on his martyrdom day. At the young age of just 19, he sacrificed his life for India’s freedom struggle. His inspired many, including Bhagat Singh Ji, to join the freedom movement. We shall forever be indebted to him. Jai Hind!" Captain Amarinder Singh stated.
Senior Akali Dal leader said that "The great revolutionary martyr who gave his life for the country. On the day of martyrdom of Kartar Singh Sarabha Ji, I bow to him. The sacrifice of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha Ji, a man of sharp intellect and high thinking, will continue to light the lamp of consciousness in the minds of the people."
