Sukhbir Badal says attack on Manjit GK hatched by ISI and executed by ‘sarkari’ Jathedars. (Majithia says attempt to implicate SAD by concocting evidence about meeting at Akshay Kumar’s house in Mumbai also exposed by actor) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today said the link between the Congress party and bogus ‘Sarkari’ Jathedars had been exposed during attack attempt on DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK with the attacker being identified as the son of the 1984 genocide witness who had taken bribe from 1984 perpetrator Jagdish Tytler and migrated to the United States. Addressing a huge public rally here, the SAD president said the attack had been planned by Pakistan’s ISI agency and executed by agents of bogus Jathedars including Dhyan Singh Mand and Baljeet Singh Daduwal. He said it was even more condemnable that those attacking Manjit GK were clean shaven. “This is not an attack on GK but an attack on our dastaar”, he added. While explaining the role of the ‘sarkari’ Jathedars in colluding with the Congress to weaken the Sikh Panth, Mr Badal said the Jathedars had become rich overnight. “They are receiving funds from Germany and other places. They are driving vehicles worth crores. What is their back ground ? Are they rich landlords or running industries ?”, he asked. Speaking about the role of Congress ministers Tript Rajinder Bajwa and Sukhjinder Randhawa, the SAD president said the ministers were hand in glove with the bogus Jathedars and had hatched a conspiracy along with the Congress party to implicate the SAD in incidents of sacrilege through the Ranjit Singh Commission. He said though all of them had thought they had cast the dye against the SAD by fabricating evidence they did not reckon with the baksheesh of the Guru who put paid to all their plans. He said Himmat Singh, who was coerced to sign statements by Sukhi Randhawa as well as Ranjit Singh, had exposed the Congress plot and put paid to their devious plans. Speaking on the occasion, former minister Bikram Majithia said another attempt by the Ranjit Singh Commission to concoct evidence about a meeting being held at Akshay Kumar’s house in Mumbai had also fallen flat with the actor denying it outrightly. Urging people to be forewarned about the dangerous politics being played by the Congress party which wanted to take the State back to the dark era, Mr Majithia also asked them to realise that someone who could make false promises on the Gutka Sahib could never be a friend of the Sikh Panth. He reminded the people that the Congress was the same party which had attacked the Harmandir Sahib with tanks and mortars and committed genocide against Sikhs in 1984. “The party has however not realised anything from its mistakes and its president is now trying to give shelter to the likes of Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar who massacred Sikhs in Delhi by stating that the party had nothing to do with the killings of innocent Sikhs. This is a blatant lie and the SAD will not rest till these persons are put behind bars”, Mr Majithia added.
