Sukhbir Singh Badal and Harsimrat Kaur Badal extend wishes on Constitution Day
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Minister of Food Processing, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, extended wishes on Constitution Day, on Tuesday. Sukhbir Singh Badal said in a tweet: "On Constitution Day, I greet citizens and urge each one to uphold the spirit of the Constitution as enjoined upon us by Dr BR Ambedkar. The fundamental rights & duties enshrined therein should be the guidepost for every Indian." Meanwhile, Harsimrat Kaur Badal said, "I wish all citizens a happy Constitution Day. Earlier on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament said, "Today is a historic day. 70 years ago, we adopted our great Constitution." "The Constitution of India highlights both rights and duties of citizens. This is a special aspect of our Constitution.
