Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Thursday paid tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 123rd birth anniversary.
Sukhbir Singh Badal took to twitter and wrote: "Tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 123rd birth anniversary. Netaji's contribution to our country's freedom struggle will never be forgotten. A Big salute to the brave heart."
Likewise, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal said in a tweet: "Remembering the great freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 123rd birth anniversary. Netaji's bravery and contribution to India's independence will always remain an inspiration for us all."
Senior SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia also paid tributes to the freedom fighter. He wrote: "On his Jayanti, my humble tributes to one of the greatest freedom fighters and nationalists Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He truly lit the flame of freedom in our hearts & minds and inspired millions to throw off the British yoke."
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to twitter and shared a video paying tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He captioned: "India will always remain grateful to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose for his bravery and indelible contribution to resisting colonialism. He stood up for the progress and well-being of his fellow Indians."
Also, Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote: "I offer my heartfelt tributes to legendary Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his Birth anniversary. Netaji founded Azad Hind Fauj and dedicated his entire life for India’s freedom. His passion and devotion towards the motherland will always be a source of inspiration for all."
