Sukhbir Singh Badal, Harsimrat Kaur Badal pay tribute to Shaheed Udham Singh on his 120th birth anniversary
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal and senior SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia on Thursday paid tribute to one of the greatest heroes of India’s freedom struggle, Shaheed Udham Singh, on his 120th birth anniversary. SAD took to twitter and wrote: "The braveheart of Punjab will always be remembered for avenging the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and the supreme sacrifice he made for the country." Meanwhile, Sukhbir Singh Badal said in a tweet: "On the birth anniversary of Shaheed S. Udham Singh, I join the nation in paying tribute to the hero who sacrificed his life to avenge the innocents massacred in Jallianwala Bagh.
